About Me

Hello. My name is Dave Fowler, and I am an SEO consultant and coach serving businesses in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

With over 15 years experience of growing organic search engine traffic that converts, I have a real passion for seeing businesses take off online.

My SEO Experience

Back in the mid-2000s, following a 10-year career managing call centres, I built my first website whilst pursuing ideas of becoming a freelance photographer (a long-standing passion). However, I quickly came to recognise the importance of search engine optimisation as the best way to ensure any website would actually get found, and a love affair with SEO was born. I quickly found my career drawn in that direction.

Today, I have more than a decade of internet marketing experience to draw on, having enjoyed huge success managing SEO in-house (in industries as diverse as food science, ecommerce, and renewable energy), alongside freelance work for SMEs.

I am passionate about the positive impact that SEO can have on businesses of all sizes, when done well and done right, helping them to survive and thrive (and their owners and managers to sleep better at night!). To see leads, sales or audiences grow as a result of my intervention gives me great pride.

Equally, I am keen to do my bit to improve the reputation of my industry, for I am only too aware of the distrust that has been bred by the behaviour of bad players. SEO should not be some dark art, and should not be treated as some cheap bolt-on to other services. In today’s business climate it is too important for that.

Rather, SEO is about getting your share of the business being sought online. If you’ve built a business to be proud of, think of SEO as the fuel that helps powwwer your website to succeed.

My Mission

I see my mission today as being to help my clients take off online, through a combination of improved search engine visibility and better website performance. But the personal touch is important too, and so I limit the number of projects undertaken at any one time, in order to ensure a close focus on project objectives and outcomes.
